Mairin graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Television Production with an emphasis in Directing. In May 2012 she received her Master's Degree in Film and Television Directing at Chapman University.

Mairin's credits include over forty short films, promotional, and commercial videos. She has received awards and recognition for several of the films she has personally written and directed and screened at multiple academy accredited film festivals. She has directed viral content with over millions of views collaborating with various musicians, fashion designers, and social media influencers. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California and continues to write and direct.
