Mary is a battered woman who receives an irrefutable offer. For once, she has had the stroke of luck that she so longed for. Finally, she will be able to escape from her personal hell and start a new life forgetting the all the pain of the past. She will only need to collect some old items from her family heirloom, deliver them to a mysterious buyer and her nightmare will be over forever.
DIRECTORS BIO
Involved in the world of movie making for more than 15 years, Joseph Díaz, has worked in all areas of film production in more than 50 feature films and series for production companies such as Disney, Netflix, HBO or Fox.
In pre-production he has had the opportunity to work as a designer alongside directors such as J. A. Bayona, Terry Gilliam, Paco Plaza, Alejandro G. Iñárritu, Jaume Collet Serra and Jaume Balagueró.
In the art department, he has worked alongside Oscar winners like Eugenio Caballero and Brigitte Broch, obtaining an Art Director's Guild Nomination in 2012. He has participated in productions such as Disney's Jungle Cruise, A Monster Calls, The Impossible, Netflix's The Irregular, etc...
In post production he has supervised VFX shots and worked as a visual effects designer for productions such as Game of Thrones, Sleepy Hollow, Cold Skin or Lost in Space.
Currently, he has founded the visual effects studio, Hypnotic VFX, together with Daniel López, where he has supervised during 2021 the film El Páramo and the series El Tiempo que te Doy and Fanático, all of them for Netflix and made visual effects for productions like See for Apple TV or The Witcher for Netflix.
